Those in Europe will get their hands on it couple days later on February 20th, 2009. One piece of info noticeably missing is the release date for the PC version. In case you are wondering, Japanese versions will be released around the same time. We finally do not have to pay extra for an import version while waiting for the US version to come out couple months later. Hurray for globalization! So mark your calendar or reserve your copy on <a href="http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=71574">GameStop</a> or <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Street-Fighter-IV-Xbox-360/dp/B0012N3ZXS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1226771129&sr=8-1">Amazaon</a> today. In the last row of characters from Alpha, we can see Rose between Sakura and Dan. If the image is for real, she can be the final and last character made into the console version. I personally welcome her addition. Her game style is very different from the other characters, especially her reflective ability can add a whole new dimension to the game.

THe aracade is already out and the Wii version will be out December 11, 2008 in Japan. It is not likely to be released in the US due to licensing issues. Amazon and GameStop are both taking pre-order of the Street Fighter IV console versions. Looks like they are going to be released on Febrary 3, 2009. That means it is going to hit the street at around the same time the movie, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li, hits the theaters. The ps3 has better joysticks and probably better graphics, but the xbox360 has more mature and better online supports.
